Imagine how you’d feel if you were really prepared to ace your next Interview?
When you are in the hot seat across from the interviewer, the pressure is on. You tough sell yourself effectively and know how to answer the questions. Do that correctly and you can land the job, and secure a fortune in future salary.
Unfortunately, many people are ill-prepared to face a prospective employer. They make big mistakes that can be avoided. Many people who get stressed out and nervous when they walk through the employer’s door could change the outcome if they were confident that they could – and would – excel in answering any questions the prospective employer might ask. They’d have their own list to impressive questions to ask, know what to do if they faced a panel of interviewers, and be able to open the interview with an attention-grabbing introduction.
If you want to improve and really do your best then you must really consider what you will say answer to those difficult questions, like: What’s your greatest weakness? Have you ever been fired? Why should I hire you?
Today you’ll likely encounter situational or behavioral interview questions such as Tell me about a recent mistake that your boss criticized you on? Tell me about a time when you observed a coworker doing something inappropriate, and how did you handle it? Situational questions are challenging unless you have crafted answers before you face the hiring manager. In fact when employers were asked in a USA Today survey what was the top “turn off” complaint about job candidates, the #1 response was "poor communication skills."

What kind of impact on your job search would happen if your resume and cover letters gave you a competitive edge in capturing employers’ attention?
Most people tell me they find writing their resume hard, and their cover letters even harder. It’s understandable since these documents must sell you to an employer in less than 15 seconds. They also must contain the appropriate keywords to come up during any electronic search. Without a format, employer desired reference guide, and solid samples, most people are pretty lost and do a poor job in creating these personal advertisements.
“My dream job called after I mailed my first cover letter and resume. I landed the job and owe it all to Robin Ryan's effective techniques.” -- Marianne Jones, Program Manager, REI
I've spent twenty years writing resumes and cover letters. In my private practice, I’ve helped a couple of thousand people create resumes and cover letters that landed jobs. It was because of their success that I spent over six months surveying employers, conducting interviews, and fine-tuning the process I use with clients. I created these books so that you can learn the most effective strategies and techniques in order to craft effective resumes and cover letters for yourself. The books are loaded with direct quotes from actual Human Resource and hiring managers. They list mistakes to avoid, such as never using a font size smaller than 11 point, and using results statements that employers want to read, rather than ineffective generic statements.
In order to make the writing process easier for you, I created two processes – goldmining technique for resume writing, and the power impact technique to craft cover letters. I included dozens of clients samples to help you since these are REAL resumes and cover letters that got REAL people REAL jobs.
I think you’ll find the national survey of 600 hiring managers we conducted as the foundation of these two books is very insightful and directive. On the audio tapes I will assist you in creating powerful statements to sell your skills.
Additionally, I have included an MS Word CD that has the actual templates for letters and resume styles that employers love. These will insure you create top notch self-marketing tools.
